December 18th – The man in the shadows THIS DECEMBER, LOOK BEYOND THE LIGHTS. From December 8th to 24th, 2025, we will take you where no one wants to look: behind closed doors, beyond the polite smiles, into the beating heart of human relationships.

December 18th – The man in the shadows

THIS DECEMBER, LOOK BEYOND THE LIGHTS. From December 8th to 24th, 2025, we will take you where no one wants to look: behind closed doors, beyond the polite smiles, into the beating heart of human relationships.

17 Days. 17 Stories. One single red thread. Forget Christmas fairytales. We will tell you the reality: the rising tension on Christmas Eve, the C-PTSD hiding behind a gift, the emotional dysregulation that turns a toast into a nightmare. But we will also tell you about hope. Every day a story, every story a scientific truth. You will discover how the ASVS protocol, trauma measurement, and Biofeedback can rewrite an ending that seemed already written. These are not just stories. They are mirrors in which to recognize oneself and tools to save oneself. The appointment is December 8th. Prepare to change your vision of Christmas. AIPC & CIPR – On the side of science, on the side of people.

Paolo

Paolo walks quickly through the sleet, head down, coat collar pulled up over his ears to hide his bruised and swollen cheekbone. Last night, during a trivial argument over Christmas expenses, his wife threw a crystal ashtray directly at his face. "You're a man, defend yourself! Don't be a sissy!" she screamed while he covered his face.

But Paolo doesn't want to hit her. Paolo just wants it all to stop. He feels alone, incredibly alone amidst the crowds rushing for gifts. If he went to the emergency room or the police, he is terrified they would laugh at him or downplay what happened. Shame is an acid that corrodes his self-esteem day after day. Paolo is an invisible victim, erased by social prejudices, a number in a statistic that no one wants to read. He suffers in a deafening silence, while the world outside speaks of one-way violence, leaving him alone with his despair and a C-PTSD that no one recognizes as legitimate.

BEYOND PREJUDICE. Pain has no gender. CIPR welcomes and supports everyone, men and women, with scientific protocols.
